Designation: Project Coordinator, Wild Shaale 

Reports To: Associate Director and Program Manager 

Location: Tamil Nadu 

Start Date: Immediate 


This position involves overseeing CWS’ environmental education program Wild Shaale in Tamil Nadu. This will include implementation of the in-person and digital program in government and private schools, evaluation of the program, coordination between field teams and CWS senior management, as well as data collection and management. The project coordinator will have to work closely with the program manager and associate director for smooth execution of the program. He/she will be required to work from Bangalore or any part of Tamil Nadu during program implementation. 


Implement the Wild Shaale program in Tamil Nadu. 

Identify schools, acquire permissions and build partnerships with them for program implementation in every location Wild Shaale is implemented in. 

Manage a field team that will conduct sessions online/in person. 

Conduct environmental education sessions and activities in schools 

Train new field staff in session delivery and program implementation 

Accounts management, record documentation, and other related tasks. 

Collect, organize and manage data from schools.


Prior experience in teaching school children. 

Prior experience in team management. 

Prior public speaking experience. 

Bachelors or Masters in Education/Wildlife/Conservation is preferred. 

Excellent spoken and written Tamil and English communication skills. Knowledge of Tamil is mandatory 

Travel within India as and when required, especially to remote locations in the field.

Four-wheel driving license is preferred.
