The role will entail significant Intra & interstate travel across India depending on programs.

Compensation  The final amount will be decided mutually during the recruitment process and as per experience.

Currently, Labhya has partnered with the Governments of Delhi, Uttarakhand, Tripura to co-create and ensure the implementation of programs that impact 2.4 Million children across 22,000+ government schools in India daily. Our programs, namely the ‘Happiness Curriculum’ and ‘Anandam Pathyacharya’ are the world’s largest and India’s first at-scale wellbeing programs. 

We expect the following from you for this role: 

*All the below-mentioned tasks would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority. 

  1. Develop grade/organisation specific teaching and learning material primarily pertaining to the concept of social emotional learning (SEL) 
  2. Contextualise curriculum wrt different geographies and socio-cultural contexts 
  3. Facilitate in-person as well as online teacher/trainer training sessions to build capacity as well as prepare detailed training modules (develop interactive lesson plans/activities for different training programs) for their clarity 
  4. Support in documenting & structuring existing programs within the organisation 
  5. Working alongside state teams of Labhya to ensure effective implementation of programs with non-profit multilateral and government partners 

Qualifications & Skills / Experience / Characteristics 

  1. Bachelors/Masters in education, social science, design education, or equivalent. 
  2. Experience & interest in education research, curriculum design, teacher training 
  3. An understanding or inclination to understanding Social Emotional Learning, mental health, psycho-social development psychology will be preferred 
  4. Prior experience of working with children and youth is preferrable 
  5. Fluent in both Hindi & English (written and spoken) 
  6. Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slide, etc 
  7. Willingness to learn and grow together with the team
