Job Summary 

Designation: Monitoring & Evaluation expert 

Location: Bhubaneswar and Rourkela 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Graduate or postgraduate from a reputed institution. 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in similar functions. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation techniques, and practices. 
  • Knowledge of major evaluation methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), data collection, and analysis methodologies. 
  • Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Odia. 
  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience in Research and M&E. 
  • Experience in contemporary methodologies and practices, with hands-on experience in writing and publications. 
  • Experience in working in the social and development research in the management of large-scale surveys is desired. 
  • Deep understanding of prevalent evaluation and monitoring techniques with the flair to apply them in different projects 
  • Should be able to engage clients and relevant stakeholders to independently manage the practice and in-flow of more projects 
  • In-depth knowledge of Research, Evaluation, Data Analysis & thematic understanding of various sectors in the social & development domain. 
  • Should have an excellent understanding of the relevant policy landscape and regulatory environment. High level of involvement, engagement, and ownership. 
  • Flair for building quality relationships with clients. 
  • Proven influencer and communicator with senior stakeholders within and outside the organization. 
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize. 
  • Willingness to travel.

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Develop objectives, and methodologies to assess the impact of the program. 
  • Define program indicators measuring process and indicators measuring outcomes. 
  • Develop methods for gathering data and frequency of data collection to track indicators together with the team and relevant stakeholders. 
  • Responsible for timely reporting of the program as well as creating an analysis plan and reporting templates for smooth functioning.
