Job Title: Lead-Project Management
Team and Division: Mindspark, Ei Shiksha

Location: Hyderabad, Telengana

About the Team:

Mindspark is a personalized adaptive learning (PAL) solution developed by Educational Initiatives (EI) in 2008. It was developed after a decade of pedagogy-based research and studies on students’ learning processes and misconceptions. Mindspark uses data on student learning gaps and difficulties to provide each student with an adaptive learning experience based on scientifically designed educational content. Currently, Mindspark is available in 9 Indian languages. At present, there are 300+ government schools across 10 Indian states (Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh) that are using Mindspark for improving learning outcomes in Maths, vernacular languages and English.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

a) Inspection of Mindspark as a product and its features, taking input of issues and their resolution thereof
b) Prepare project progress report on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
c) Maintaining records of tasks, issues, bugs in the software, and interactions with stakeholders on the ground.
d) Appropriate and timely follow-ups wherever required
e) Resolve high-quality technical issues with the IT team
f) Escalate unresolved queries, issues, and bugs to the respective team for accurate resolution and efficient implementation.
g) Supervising the school/center in-charge/volunteers/block coordinator and getting regular updates on progress from the assigned schools.
h) Provide required support to teachers and students through training and handholding
i) Ensure project deliverables are met on time with high quality
j) Conduct and facilitate schools visits for funder, government officials, and Ei team members
k) Travel for product Implementation, training, and on ground support as and when required.

Educational Qualifications

● Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.

Experience Required

● Minimum 3 years of work experience in a government department/NGO
● Understanding of assessments/education sector/public policy in India

Necessary Skills

● Good skills to provide training to small to medium groups.
● Excellent skills to coordinate and work with multiple teams at a time
● Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
● Basic skills of data interpretation and data explanation.
● Good knowledge of MS Office, computer hardware.
● Excellent networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with people of significance
● Must have good communication skills in Telugu and English
● Readiness to upgrade one’s technical and interpersonal skills.


Remuneration will be competitive with Indian development sector pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s skills and experience levels.
