Job Description:

Position: Consultant – E-learning Portal, Young People’s Education Programme (YPE)

About Young People’s Education Programme (YPE): Nirantar’s YPE programme provides education to never-enrolled, dropout, and school-going adolescents and very young adolescents from marginalised and resource-poor communities through its informal learning centres.

Scope of Work:
1. Review and map the major e-learning portals in India.
2. Work closely with the YPE programme team and curriculum experts (internal and external) to digitise thematic curricula.
3. Edit already developed thematic videos based on feedback.
4. Field testing digitised materials with learners and teachers and incorporating feedback.
5. Liaise with designers and web developers to design, refine, and implement the wireframe for the learning portal.
6. Work with the developer to test and run the learning portal on various devices to ensure a seamless interface.
7. Work with young leaders from the communities to help develop a cadre of feminist leaders from marginalised communities.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in the Humanities, Social Sciences or allied disciplines/fields of study.
2. 2 years of relevant work experience in designing online learning modules, digital content creation, and e-learning portals.
3. Demonstrated experience in multimedia creation and digital editing.
4. Experience of working with young people, especially girls from marginalised communities.
5. Knowledge of website development processes, along with the ability to liaise effectively with designers, animators, and web developers.

Location: New Delhi. Office Based.
Duration: 6 months (subject to extension depending on evolving needs of the project).
