Consultancy service for the Influencers & celebrity marketing of ShareOn By Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e.v.

  1. INTRODUCTION

Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is one of Germany’s largest private aid agencies. In South Asia, over the past 55 years, WHH has supported over 1500 rural development projects through local partner organizations contributing towards combating poverty, hunger and malnutrition. Our approach is to work as partners and support local organizations in improving living conditions of vulnerable people in a sustainable way.

Under a European Union co-funded project, Welthungerhilfe aims to strengthen 40 partner Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and community-based organizations working on land, water, and food campaigns, in their capacity to raise resources through a crowdfunding platform and meet their fundraising targets by learning different Online & Offline methods to communicate with and engage stakeholders, including donors.

Under the same project, a fundraising platform- ShareOn.in, has been developed by the CSOs & for the CSOs to help them raise Individual funds. Through this ToR, Welthungerhilfe seeks an agency to facilitate ShareOn’s Brand Promotion through Influencers, local celebrities and event collaborations- both Offline & Online.

  1. TERMS OF REFERENCE

Brief and Objectives:

Welthungerhilfe hereby seeks to contract a Marketing & Event Management agency to facilitate ShareOn’s Brand Promotion through engagement with Influencers, local celebrities and event collaborations- both Offline & Online.

Scope of work:

  • The agency will create an integrated strategy and list of activities to promote ShareOn as a Brand through engagement with Influencers, local celebrities, and event collaborations- both Offline & Online.

  • The agency will identify budget-friendly influencers, local celebrities and small but credible events to promote ShareOn and the campaigns launched on the platform online & offline.

  • It will engage with the influencers/celebrities/event organisers & execute the promotion activities

  • The agency will ensure media coverage- print, electronics & online portals.

Key deliverables: –

  1. An integrated marketing strategy to promote ShareOn as a Brand through engagement with Influencers, local celebrities, and event collaborations.

  2. A list of activities for execution of the promotion plan.

  3. Identifying conscious, non-profit aligned, impactful but budget-friendly Influencers, local celebrities, and event organisers to promote ShareOn & its campaigns

  4. Creating Social Media content/posts for marketing ShareOn through Influencers/local celebrities

  5. Identifying event organisers, forge a partnership and creating IEC content if required

  6. Execute the entire marketing plan, monitoring and submitting an impact report at the end of the excersice.

  7. At least 50% increase in the number of ShareOn Website Visitors & Social Media Followers- Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn. (could be discussed further)

  8. 25% Increase in the donation amount received for at least 50% of the total number of campaigns on ShareOn (We are open to discuss these percentages during the calls but not in any circumstances, we would be able to give any percentage or incentive on the funds raised for campaigns launched on ShareOn platform via all these marketing activities. Only activity-based consultancy fee will be paid.)

    1. A technical proposal specifying the overall approach to the execution of the contract; the services to be provided; the experience of the applicant in similar assignments and their proposed team with time commitment.

    2. A financial offer including each service’s per unit cost.

The actual scope of work and deliverables will be finalized after the interview with the agency/expert.

  1. Time-Period for the contract – Maximum 6 months to complete the entire exercise.

  1. Evaluation – The selection of consultant shall be based on both technical quality and cost evaluation by the purchasing committee.

Please note – The committee may ask for more detailed presentation from the shortlisted candidates before awarding the contract. The presentation is in no way binding on the contracting authority. Applicants will be informed of their selection & non-selection, but scores and other details of the evaluation committee will remain confidential.
